The mandate of CROSQ is to harmonise and implement standards, to facilitate international competitiveness, and to increase regional and international trade; for the sustainable production of goods and services in the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), and the enhancement of social and economic development.
CROSQ consists of:
as established by the Inter-Governmental Agreement signed in Belize on the 4th day of February 2002.The four colours and circular elements of the CARICOM flag are used to maintain a strong identity with CROSQ's governing body.
The light blue section of the logo represents the Organisation's goals in three ways:
CROSQ being an organisation committed to protecting standards and quality, the letter 'Q' was highlighted in gold, and the stroke of the 'Q' replaced with a tick.
